Women's Day

today the world is said to have celebrated WORLD WOMEN'S DAY. The aim is to sensitise people about the importance of women in all walks of life , and make them understand their role in building up the new world order.Even in the first decade of the 21st century, women continue to suffer from a number of handicaps, injustices and inequities. It is high time the world restored the rightful place to women and correct the imbalance carried on century after century . The earlier, the better.

Life in the times of meltdown

The meltdown, currently being experienced world wide, threatens the peace, equanimity, poise and overall health of one's mind, and so of one's body.Therefore it is likely to affect adversely the normal human capacity to think and to judge objectively and to take decisions wisely.This can affect both the ordinary persons as well as the persons in the positions of power.It is, therefore, obvious that the human race today is confronted with a crisis of tremendous potential for damage. How can we safeguard the human race from such a grim prospect? By an attitude of fight? or flight? or adjustment ?or surrender? or akarma?
